आज दिनांक 9 मार्च को राजस्थान के मुख्यमंत्री अशोक गहलोत ने वर्ष साल 2010-11 का बजट पेश करते हुए कहा कि सरकार प्रशासन को सशक्त बनाएगी। मुख्यमंत्री ने कहा कि सूचना के अधिकार पर जोर दिया जाएगा। साथ ही आर्थिक मंदी का असर कम हो रहा है। उन्होंने कहा कि छठे वेतन आयोग का भार उठाने में सरकार को काफी मुश्किलों का सामना करना पड रहा है। गहलोत ने कहा कि सडकों के विकास पर जोर दिया जाएगा।  गहलोत सरकार का अपने कार्यकाल में यह दूसरा बजट है।

आधारभूत ढांचे पर खर्च
गहलोत ने आधारभूत ढांचे पर खास जोर दिया है। उन्होंने सडकों के विकास  पर जोर देते हुए कहा कि इन पर 2 हजार करोड से ज्यादा की लागत आएगी। 1521 किलोमीटर सडकों का निर्माण होगा। पांच हजार से ज्यादा ढाणियों को जोडा जाएगा। केन्द्रीय मदद से सडकों का विकास किया जाएगा।

ऊर्जा पर भी विशेष जोर
गहलोत ने कहा कि ऊर्जा क्षेत्र के लिए 11 हजार 424 करोड खर्च किए जाएंगे। 10260 मेगावाट अतिरिक्त क्षमता हासिल की जाएगी। 28 मेगावाट आगामी साल के लिए लक्ष्य रखा गया है। 33 केवी के तीन जीएस प्रस्तावित है। बिजली उत्पादन के लिए बायोमास नीति जारी की गई है।
