Earlier baby shower was organized only for the first baby. But now as the time has changed parents organize showers for every baby. For every parent their each baby is special so they give them special welcome into our world. Baby showers allow family and friends to share the joy. It is the event to welcome a new life into the world.
As such there is no set time for a baby shower. Mostly it is organized in the last trimester of the mother-to-be pregnancy stage. But it is not necessary. First of all it necessary to plan everything systematically for the baby shower. Start planning about 4-6 weeks before baby shower. In a diary note each and every thing like

- decide the location to host the baby shower. It should be convenient for your guest also.

- You can serve appetizers or a full meal depending on your budget.

- make your budget and then plan every thing according to it.

- you may either go for printed invitation or simply make phone calls to your guest. Again it depends on your budget.
* date and time
- fix the date and time which is convenient to both you and your guests.
* theme
- having a theme to your party helps gives guidance to how you decorate your party.
* games
- you can also organize games in the party.
* gifts
- if you have organized games then make sure to give gifts to the winner.
After planning all this, next important task is to mail the invitations. This is to done surely 3-4 weeks before, so all the invitation should reach at time.
Schedule
The party is normally for 2 hours. You should take proper care of your guest during this time. Give them warm welcome. If you have organized games then it can played and winners should be given the prizes. After that serve the meal to them. Make sure mother-to-be say goodbye to everyone. You should also thanks the guests for coming.
