Introduction
Astrology is complex and complicated system that is a wonderful mix of science, art and craft. Around 250 BC the Greeks introduced the system of using the date and time of birth to forecast the destinies of individuals. Natal Astrology tells about the personality traits and characteristics that an individual have.
Astrology is a science as no matter how much one learns he can never embrace all its knowledge. Ptolemy wrote the first modern Astrology textbook.
Astrology is believed as the positions of certain celestial bodies either influence or correlate with personality traits of any individual, important events in their lives, physical characteristics, and to some extent their destiny. All astrological traditions are based on the relative positions and movements of various celestial bodies like the Sun, Moon, planets and the lunar nodes as seen at the time and place of the event being studied. In casting a horoscope various calculations are performed, which involves arithmetic and simple geometry. It serves to locate the apparent position of heavenly bodies on desired dates and times based on astronomical tables.
Until and unless the Astrologer has accurate time, date and of course the place of birth, a Birth Chart and Interpretation or either a Horoscope and compatibility report cannot be accurate for everyone born under a specific Zodiac sign. In some cases place of residence is also important in the casting of daily Horoscopes.
