Pranayama, which is practice of breathing, has a wonderful effect on our body. If it is done regularly then there is no chance you will face any health problem.

It is necessary to do pranayama or any other exercise under the guidance of expert. If it is not done so then it may have an adverse effect. It is should be early in the morning or in the evening. It depends on you, which time suits you. Do it regularly and see the miracle change in yourself.

- It increases the absorption of oxygen and helps in elimination of waste gases and carbon dioxide from the body.

- It improves the blood circulation thus promoting general health to the immune system.

- The deep diaphragmatic breathing helps body get rid of the gaseous chemicals. It also brings up to seven more times more oxygen into the lungs.

- The ability to concentrate increases.

- Pranayama increases the elasticity and capacity of the lungs.

Practice Guidelines

Clothing

Always wear comfortable, modest, non-restrictive clothes while practicing pranayam. It also allows you to move freely. In winters have a sweater or shawl, and warm socks to wear during relaxation at the end of class.

Food

Never practice on a full stomach. Wait until 2 hours after eating before you practice. If you have low blood sugar it is fine to have a light snack, tea, or coffee ahead of time.
