Healthy eating tips for your kids
If you are always bothered about the eating habits of your child, we are here for you. Here are some general healthy eating tips for your child. These tips will help you a lot and your child would also enjoy eating.Little concentration and time is necessary for healthy kid. It all depends upon the right food and right time.
Snack time
Avoid to give your kids a snack within an hour and a half of their mealtime and especially if the snack is filling or high in calories. Give the meal at right time to them.
Make a routine
Give your child three meals a day including at least two snacks. By making a routine of the meal your kids will be hungry at a regular time and can help make mealtimes more relaxed.
Eat at the table
Make the habit of your kid to have the meal on table and at least half an hour to eat it. You also eat your food with them so as to promote better eating habits in your kids. They would learn the table manners and eat the healthy food with you.
Turn off the T.V.
Turn off the T.V. while eating as it promotes mindless overeating and results in excess weight gain.
Make dessert healthy
Instead of giving healthy desserts to your child, give them fresh fruit. Though it is difficult for any child to skip the dessert but you can try for it. It has only fewer calories and an added plus of healthy vitamins and nutrients.
Watch your portions
Do not serve your child an overflowing dinner plate. Stick to child-sized servings. Let your kid asks for more if s/he is really hungry.
