 The first Sunday of August every year IS CELEBRATED AS A FRIENDSHIP DAY. The tradition of dedicating a day in honor of friends began in US in 1935. Slowly this festival gained popularity and today Friendship Day is celebrated in large number of countries including India. At this special ocassion people spend time with their friends and express love for them. Friendship Day is usually celebrated by giving Gifts like flowers, cards and wrist bands to the special friend. Friendship Day Poems
