People are waiting for karnataka election results. The 224 seat karnataka assembly is very cruicial for all political parties.  

At the moment, the candidates in the Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts are running neck-and-neck. While U T Khader has surged ahead of his rival Padmanabha Kottary, battle is growing hotter in Mangalore North between Moidin Bava and Krishna Palemar. Bantwal too is a hotspot with heavyweights Nagaraj Shetty from BJP and Ramanath Rai from Congres vying for the seat. So far the contest seems to be between Congress and BJP only, with JD(S) lagging behind except in Mulki-Moodbidri.
