The Railway Recuitment Boards are agency for recruitment for various posts in Indian Railways.

Railway Recruitment Control Board (RRCB) was set up in 1998 in the Ministry of Railways   (Railway Board) with the objective of information of policy in regards to:

Recruitment Procedures.
To monitor the activites of all Railway Recruitment Board(RRBs) including expenditure incurred for the recruitment.To evaluate the performance of RRb’s and advice them or priorities
as required.To organise managment information system for monitoring work
done by RRBs.
