SLR Rate of RBI Credit Policy increased by 100 basis point

The Reserve Bank on India (RBI) has been increased by 100 basis points. Now the SLR rate is 25 percent. repo, reverse repo and cash reserve ratio has not been changed.
The SLR rate has been increased to keep control on inflation specially food items.
The reverse repo rates and repo rate are unchanged at 3.25 per cent and at 4.75 per cent respectively.
The SLR is the minimum percentage of deposits that banks have to keep parked in assets like government bonds.
