If you are working on internet it means you can easily go online to shop, read the latest news, send e-mail, and more. But working on internet also allows hackers to easily gain access to your PC. If the hackers enter inside your PC then it can steal your valuable personal data including your bank account numbers and passwords. It can render your computer to everyone except the hacker.
PC firewall is required to protect your PC from hacker attacks. A PC firewall shuts the door of your computer to hackers. It allows only authorized traffic to flow through. The benefit to install the antivirus software in your PC is it protects you from known viruses and can help clean up after a virus attack. A PC firewall blocks unauthorized access to your Internet-connected computer. It also protects against both known and unknown Internet threats. Thus a PC firewall not only allows your computer complete, unrestricted access to the Internet but also protect it from unwanted hackers. What does PC firewall do?
It acts as a barrier between your PC and the Internet. It prevents Internet threats from spreading to your PC. A PC firewall checks the traffic flowing through the open door of your PC to the Internet. If the PC firewall finds anything suspicious, which is not required by your computer it automatically identifies and blocks it. Not only this, it also hides your Internet-connected PC from view.
A PC firewall can easily go where your computer goes or whenever you require it.
Thus PC firewall should be installed to every computer to protect your computer from the unwanted hackers.
