Vacancies :

1. Indian Military Academy – 250 Posts ( 32 Vacancies for NCC ‘C’ Certificate Army Wing)

2. Naval Academy – 40 ( 6 Vacancies for NCC ‘C’ Certificate Naval Wing)

3. Air Force Academy – 32

4. Officers Training Academy SSC Men – 175

5. Officers Training Academy SSC Women ( Non technical) – 35

The Examination will be held at various centers in India.

Candidates must apply in the Common Application Form devised by the Commission for its examination, which can be purchased from the Designated Head Post Offices/Post Offices (specified in Appendix III of the notice) throughout the country against cash payment of Rs. 20/- (Rupees Twenty only).  Each such form can be used only once and only for one examination.

In case of any difficulty in obtaining Application Forms from the designated HPOs/POs, the candidates should immediately contact the concerned post Master or UPSC’s “FORMS SUPPLY MONITORING CELL” over Telephone No. 011-23389366/FAX No. 011-23387310.  

Age Limit :

1. Indian Military Academy – Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1986 and not later than 1st July, 1991 only are eligible.

2.  Naval Academy – Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1988 (2nd July, 1986 in case of NCC/Naval Wing ‘C’ Certificate holders) and not later than 1st July, 1991 only are eligible.

3. Air Force Academy-Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd July, 1987 and not later than 1st July, 1991 only are eligible.

4. Officers Training Academy-(SSC Course for Men): Male candidates (married or unmarried born not earlier than 2nd July, 1985 and not later than 1st July, 1991 only are eligible.

5. For Officers’ Training Academy – (SSC Women Non-Technical Course): Unmarried women are eligible.  They should have been born not earlier than 2nd July, 1985 and not later than 1st July, 1991

Educational Qualification –

(i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy-Degree of a recognised University or equivalent.

(ii) For Naval Academy : B.Sc. (with Physics & Mathematics) or Bachelor of Engineering.

(iii) For Air Force Academy : Degree of Recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Graduates with first choice as Army/Navy/Air Force are to submit proof of graduation provisional certificates on the date of commencement of the SSB Interview at the SSB
