It is heard that Australian cricket players are considering to skip the lucrative Indian Premier league edition 3 (IPL-3).

It will begins  in March-April 2010.

The Australian cricketers may not be able to play in the third edition of the Indian Premier League.

This was after the Shiv Sena, a political party in India were against the Australian to play in Maharashtra in reaction to the attacks on Indian citizens staying in Australia by some groups of locals.

In reaction to this Australian Cricketers’ Association did have a talk with the IPL and asked them to share the security plan with them but the IPL denied.

Lets hope everything goes better as after the Indian cricketers, it is the Australian team who bring in a lot of sheen to the tournament. Without them, it will be difficult to visualize the tournament going ahead in full swing.

25 Australian cricketers were expected to take part in the 2010 edition of the IPL.
