Bihar to implement 6th Pay Commission recommendation
Conceding the demand of its employees, Bihar government today announced that recommendations of 6th Pay Commission would be implemented from January 1, 2006 in principle and the actual benefit would be given from April, 2007.
Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who also holds the finance portfolio, said the government has also decided to give grade pay of Rs 4200 in the scale of 5000-8000 and 5500-9000 as recommended by the pay panel. READ MORE…
Bihar to implement Sixth Pay Panel from January 2006
Succumbing to the pressure of the non-gazetted employees the Bihar government on Monday announced that recommendations of Sixth Pay Commission would be implemented from January 1, 2006 in principle and the actual benefit would be given from April, 2007.
According to the deputy Chief Minister Sushil Kumar Modi, who also holds the finance portfolio, the government has also decided to give grade pay of Rs 4,200 in the scale of Rs 5000-8000 and Rs 5,500-9,000 as recommended by the pay panel.Â

Nagaland in a fix on pay hike
Funds-starved Nagaland is in a dilemma as the state government employees have demanded implementation of the 6th Central Pay Commission recommendations which has been accepted by the Centre and also by some other state governments.
The Confederation of All Nagaland State Services Employees Association said the Union government had already accepted the report of the 6th Pay Commission and, therefore, urged the Nagaland government to implement it. READ MORE…

Cracking the whip on its protesting employees, the cash-strapped Uttar Pradesh Power Corporation Ltd (UPPCL) has asked them to first perform and then demand a share in the corporation’s profits.
