The tamil actress Bhuvaneshwari was arrested on 2 oct 2009 on receiving complaints of from the neighbours of Bhuvaneshwari. She was arrested in chennai. The allegation is for involving in prostitution.

She was waiting for two others with clients and see was also arrested in 2002 for same reason.

The police sources said that she had been running a high-profile brothel for many years. Bhuvneshswari charged between Rs 10,000 and Rs 1 lakh from the clients, the source added.
