3. No Change in Corporate Income Tax
4. No Change in Surcharge
5. For Womens Tax exemption Upto Rs 1.8 Lacs
6. Security Transaction Tax treated like dedictible expenditure
7. Project Import Custom Duty Reduced From 7.5% to 5%
8. Now Cheaper - Cars for everone duty reduced to 14% from 24%
9. Bank Cash Transaction removed from 1 April 2009.
10. Two Wheelers will be cheap duty reduced to 12% from 16%
11. AIDS Drugs and Water Purifier will be cheaper
12. Set Top Boxes set duty free
13. Sixth pay Commission will submit report on 31 March 2008
14. Agricultural Loans are waived off.
